When does it start and how long does the Pilot last?

What can I compost?

Click HERE to see our "What To Compost?" page.  Please understand this is not a complete list, but more of a guideline.  Not sure of something you are considering placing in collection bucket/container,  please just reach out.

It is also extremely important that participants know what CONTAMINATION is. Knowing that if it is made of plastic, aluminum, metal, glass, ceramic, or if it has chemicals in it, then it is not compostable.

Who Can Participate?

Houston Residents who live in the Greater Heights or Kashmere Gardens neighborhoods.

What Kind Of Container Should I Use For The Pilot?

You can use any container. We come once a week on your scheduled pick up day, we dump the food scraps out of your container and leave your bucket behind. We do not clean your bucket, and are not responsible for replacing buckets if they are stolen or lost.

What Happens When Pilot Is Over?

After the pilot program has ended, in an effort to make food scraps curbside services available to all residents in Houston, we are offering a $10/month weekly pick-up subscription. For those who do not know, our competitors charge $20-$35/month for weekly service. However, we are offering a $10/month for weekly curbside service to everyone inside the 610 Loop, making us the only Composting Company to offer such an affordable price.
