Bee Balm or Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) - Herbaceous perennials that bloom fragrant bursts of flowers in late summer & early fall.

 

  • Growth: Can grow 2 - 4 feet tall, with a spread of 2 - 3 feet.
  • Light: Partial shade to full sun.
  • Soil: loose, well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
  • Maintenance: Space 18 inches - 2 feet apart for air circulation to avoid fungal infections. Deadhead blossoms to encourage more blooms. Avoid excessive & overhead watering
  • Benefits: Attracts pollinators
