Texas Rock Rose (Pavonia Lasiopetala)  – compact shrub with small, pink blooms from late spring through fall.   
 
Growth: Can grow 2 - 4 feet tall.
Light: Prefers full sun, but can tolerate light shade. 
Soil: Thrives in dry, rock soils and low water areas. Needs well-drained soil. 
Hardiness: Very hardy. Very heat & drought tolerant.  
Maintenance: Low maintenance.  
Benefits: Attracts bees, butterflies, & hummingbirds.
